The Araku region has been growing coffee since the early 1900s and since 2007 the SAMTFMACS cooperative has helped drive the quality of the production. They have built a state of the art processing unit and were even the first place in the country to become an SCA Premier Training Campus.
The coffee is picked when it is a crimson red and dried on raised beds. At night, the cherries are covered with a fine cloth to protect them from moisture.
This stunning natural lot has an incredible strawberry jam sweetness with the body to match. There are soft stone fruit notes of peach and a candied hazelnut finish.
