We have put together Peru Aprysa, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe & El Salvador San Ernesto to create a celebration of sweetness - Furnace & Flue!
As an espresso, it is bright & punchy with lovely orange acidity, marzipan & a buttery mouthfeel. It goes great with milk too, with great sweetness & a nutty aftertaste.
The name Furnace & Flue is a nod to the 1832 Wellingborough Gaslight Company which was on the site where the roastery now sits. We found some old drawings & discovered that the furnace where the coal was heated used to sit in the same spot where our beloved coffee roaster is now!
