All about Chocolate & Love

The best way to enjoy chocolate!

Their gorgeous passion story

Sourcing some of the World’s finest organic ingredients and producing in Switzerland, this award-winning dark chocolate brand is so tasty and full of the dreamiest flavours. Not only that most of them are vegan friendly.

One of our favourite things about this amazing company is that their story is also a love story (who doesn’t love a love story?). A chocolate-craving Scotsman and a foodie Dane met and took a fancy to each other. So they set out to create one of the best organic ethical chocolate brands in the World.

Organic with no compromise

Chocolate & Love use only the best cacao and other ingredients available to produce an organic chocolate of the finest quality.

Their collection uses only certified organic ingredients. Organic produce can be traced from the farm to the fork with every process along the way. This enables full traceability. Consumers can rely on the fact that products comply with organic standards and have been produced and/or processed by approved operators.

Ethically made, ethically run

What’s important to us is also important to Richard and Birgitte. So not only is it high quality organic chocolate it has also been ethically sourced. They source their cacao, cane sugar, vanilla and coffee from cooperatives certified by Fairtrade.
Every aspect of their business is run as ethically as possible, like minimising shipping to cut down on fuel costs, using FSC certified paper as well as 100% biodegradable silver inner wrappers based on sustainable wood-pulp from plantations employing Forestry Management principles.

How they’re helping the planet

Chocolate & Love have collaborated with an innovative re-forestation organisation called Weforest.org. They have planted trees in Ethiopia and Tanzania and they started their support of re-forestation in 2010. That year they were among the top 10 donors to Weforest. By planting back they are also helping offset the production of the paper used in packaging their bars. So keep eating their chocolate, and they will do the planting!!
